Arċipelagu, 2018
Artist’s book, 48 pages, spiral-bound
This publication accompanied the installation Arċipelagu (2018), shown at the St Elmo old examination centre in Valletta (March-May 2018). The publication brings together images, video stills and multi-lingual texts by many artists based on islands around the Mediterranean Sea. Texts, page numbers and images ‘float’ around the pages, seeking answers to the same question: “Is an island a place one escapes to or escapes from?”
